Child GPS Tracking
Child GPS tracking uses Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) equipment
to provide a pinpoint location. It currently requires a dedicated
piece of equipment – a GPS tracker device.
Our Find Your Child service is not dependent on GPS equipment –
you simply need your child to have a mobile phone. The location
is generated by the mobile telephone operator (eg Vodafone) based
on the signals received by their network masts. The benefit of this
approach is that you don’t need to invest in specialist equipment.
No matter what age your child is, we know that you are committed
to providing the best possible parenting you can. A mobile phone
tracking service helps you do this in an unobtrusive manner. By
using the latest technology, we let you know your child’s
location, so you can be reassured that they are more or less where
you’d expect them to be. You can do this without making a
call – which they sometimes don’t answer – or
sending them a text – which they often ignore when they’re
with friends. Our service is discrete and secure, there is no need
for any extra device, and it works across all the major mobile phone
networks.
Tracking your child via their mobile phone is a sensible way of
harnessing technology. After all, we know that kids tend to regard
a mobile phone as an essential item, and rarely go anywhere without
one. Our mobile locator service is a great way to keep a watchful
eye on their location, without them feeling like you’re breathing
down their neck. This makes it a parenting tool that gives them
a little more independence without you letting them completely off
the leash.
